1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Full Page Screenshot Chrome extension (“Extension”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. Please read this policy carefully. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Single purpose
The Extension’s single purpose is to capture full webpages and export them as PNG, JPG, or PDF files on your own device.
3. Data we collect
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal user data with third parties.
In particular, the Extension does not collect:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, ID numbers)
- Health, financial, or authentication information
- Personal communications
- Precise location data
- Browsing history for analytics or advertising
- Keystrokes, passwords, or account credentials
Screenshots and page content processed during a capture stay on your device. We do not upload webpage content or screenshots to Angad Software servers.
4. Local processing only
Capture, stitching, preview, and export happen locally inside your browser. When you click Download, the file is saved using Chrome’s download feature to your computer. Angad Software does not receive a copy of that file.
5. Information stored on your device
The Extension may store the following preferences locally using
chrome.storage.local:
- Image quality setting (High / Medium / Low)
- PDF page size preference (A4 / Letter)
- Last selected export format (PNG / JPG / PDF)
These settings remain on your device and are not transmitted to us. You can clear them by removing the Extension or clearing extension storage in Chrome settings.
6. Permissions and why we use them
- activeTab — Access the active tab only when you use the Extension, to measure the page and capture screenshots.
- scripting — Inject a temporary content script to scroll the page, handle sticky/fixed elements during capture, and restore the page afterward.
- downloads — Save the exported PNG, JPG, or PDF file to your computer when you choose to download.
- storage — Save your Extension preferences on your device.
The Extension does not use remote code. All scripts, including the PDF library, are bundled inside the Extension package.
7. Third-party services
The Extension does not integrate analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or remote tracking services. Installing from the Chrome Web Store means Google may process install/update related data under Google’s own policies, which are separate from this policy.
8. Children’s privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Data security
Because capture and export are performed locally, your screenshots are protected by your device and browser security. We recommend keeping Chrome and your operating system up to date.
10. Your choices
- You control when a capture starts.
- You choose whether to download a file and in which format.
- You can uninstall the Extension at any time from
chrome://extensions.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
